This contemporary home was designed for a family of six relocating from London, England to the Pacific Northwest. The design was conceived as a blending of elements of the family's London home with their vision of American houses and the Northwest climate. Simple massing, a sheltering pitched roof, expressive windows with an influx of natural light and exposed timber detailing were the basic concepts from which the design evolved.
