LAKEFRONT RESIDENCE
This new custom home is located on a three-hundred foot waterfront parcel
near the north end of Lake Washington, with a low pebble beach adjacent and
views of the lake and sunsets. The clients requested a home to serve as a
backdrop for their large collection of Asian furnishings and artifacts,
collected on travels throughout Asia. The design concept focused on strong
characteristics of Pacific Northwest architecture blended with an Asian
influence. Interior detailing focused on incorporating artwork and furniture
within the architecture, or designing the interior detailing to accommodate
specific works of art.
